On March 27th, the Inaugural Construction Pinewood Derby was held in the Gundaker Theatre on the campus of CBC High School.  Proceeds from this event supported the operations of the Greater St. Louis Area Council and the more tha 58,400 young people who beneifit from its programs.

31 cars were built from blocks of wood or other materials relevant to the business' interest.  The Champions Cup was awareded to the fastest racer of the evening from Thomas Industrial Coatings.  Additional recognition was awarded to Essex Industries for Best In Show.
